About the Event

In keeping with the tradition of Indian culture, The Jain International School initiated the students of fundamental into formal education through Aksharabhysam on 10 June 2019. The parents, grandparents joined the Puja celebrations followed by writing the traditional Ganesha and Maa Saraswathi. Puja was performed by Pandit Seetharam Shastry also a parent of our school.

Amidst the chanting of Saraswathi Bija Mantra children wrote their first letter on the writing slate. The children were blessed and were given books, writing pads as takeaways. The teachers welcomed their little ones into the decorated classrooms and presented them the welcome cards. The whole session was auspicious and memorable.
