About the EventThe Scouts and Guides department of the The Jain International School joined hands with Forest Department of Kolar district to celebrate World Environment Day on 10 June 2019. The occasion was graced by Mr. Kempaiya, BEO and Mr. Vinod Jain, Coordinator TJIS.
The students planted the saplings issued by the forest department. The program was followed by trek to forest region where students’ prepared 25000 seed balls to reseed the landscapes while teaching the students the importance of native plants and environment.
